When my patients and I have been working on their injuries a few times, they generally end up more relieved and suffering less pain. So, last week`s lady came back after the 3rd time with less back ache and only having one Slipped Disc visible. Her realisation that she has less pain means that she spends most of her days now without agony, getting her normal life back - walking and moving around.
Slipped discs release comes when I apply Shiatsu pressure to her Acupoints that parallel her spinal column, and using zero drugs
and painkillers. In Malaysia, they sometimes call me a Tittar doctor - one who resets body limbs and bone injuries. I find from 25 years experience that many musculo-skeletal injuries can be "reset" to relieve patient pains fairly promptly. Take a look at some of my Chinese TCM - Shiatsu treatments like hers on: www.yen-medical.com
So, when people come to me requesting an urgent appointment, they must be suffering intense pains. A lady came today with severe back “Slipped Discs”. She had spent days in agony, saw GP doctor to get painkillers, then a MRI scan. The photo scan proved it’s a bad spinal issue, with 3 Slipped Discs, but now what to do?
Three Slipped discs, and her agony is bad, with big loss in walking and mobility. I apply Shiatsu pressure to her Acupoints as a non-surgical and drug-free massage for her body injuries /pains. I found that I can relieve her pains, and get her vertebrae to loosen or reset gradually. It can take a few sessions. Drop in for advice and treatment like she did: www.yen-medical.com
How it all began for me. 25 years ago, I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture in Malaysia. Questions:
What is body Qi energy?
How to get Yin and Yang energy balance for improved health?
What are Chinese internal organs and how do Acupoints and Meridians work in theory? etc...
A year later, I went sideways and studied Shiatsu. This was originally based om Shizuto Masunaga’s seminal book, Zen Shiatsu: This serves as a useful bridge between Japanese Shiatsu and Chinese TCM theory. It focuses on diagnosing hand-on a patient`s organ energy imbalances (not just treating surface symptoms) towards better health.
When I have to teach, or explain Shiatsu in detail, I still use the same paper books I studied some 25 years ago. No PDF or e-files or MP4 videos - just traditional pointed books - notably:
"Zen Shiatsu" - Shizuto Matsunaga & Wataru Ohashi
"Shiatsu Theory and Practice" - Carola Beresford-Cooke
"Shiatsu Complete Guide" - Chris Jarmey
"Definitive Guide to Acupuncture Points" - Chris Jarmey & Ilaira Bouratinos
Good luck to you too.
I`ve worked using Chinese TCM medicine and Shiatsu massage 25 years. I used these healing methods when you need your back, legs, arms, neck pains etc addressed. But, I`ll usually be the last invited by people needing their pains fixed; first called- GP doctors or Physios and therapists in NHS service. After successfully treating some 25,000 patients, I can explain how patients can get on the pain-relieving path with Chinese TCM and Shiatsu. Then, I work on them via Shiatsu pressure on their Acupoints - this does not suit everyone; but, we generally progress towards better health. Look, there`s no unique value proposition - except that I never apply drugs or surgery.
Reviewing my client portfolio on Website and social media, plus positive reviews on Google, I`d show how my hands-on healing techniques on mind and body help rebuild health. Realistically, few in healthcare can promise a full medical recovery in a short time. But, with zero drugs used and no surgery, there`s obviously lower risks of side-effects and long-term harm from my treatment.
Generally, where I can reduce patient’s pain by (let’s say) 66% over a short time, or improve the recovery rate by 33%, I`d seize the opportunity. But like any other industry, client feedback is vital, so patient comments and reviews on Google and social media are useful. So, satisfy your curiosity to search for genuine pain-relieving solutions that improve your health, and not just consuming more painkillers. Get in touch with me.
Look, getting anyone to walk again properly is going to be difficult. With hospital patients, it involves a large multi-disciplinary rehab team. Then, modern drugs and devices advanced technology and medication to help patients “find” their legs and feet again. With me resetting and revitalising patients using TCM and Shiatsu methods, it’s a one-man team with zero drugs, no surgery and 4,000 years old Chinese medical technology.
Last time, Russell explained how his Sciatica, stiff legs and feet stopped him walking normally. Russell describes in Part 2 how I worked on him to “find” his feet again. And there’s still lot more work to getting him to walk properly, after we had made initial progress.
Now, I usually explain how someone in pain or injured comes to me to fix their bad back and leg pains with Chinese TCM. Years before I set to work via Shiatsu pressing his Acupoints, there was a lot of his body aching and suffering he had to endure. For a change, I asked Russell to recount how his Sciatica back pains, stiff legs and feet were preventing him from walking and moving properly. Here’s Russell in Part 1 explaining how he suffered.
I suppose many patients come to see me for immediate treatment for pain relief. A large majority need healthcare for bad backs, hips, necks and limb pains without administering drugs or surgery. Quite a few are kind enough to leave a positive review for me on Google. Others seek my specialised Chinese TCM care for relieving pains and stress to work, rest and sleep better - all improving their quality of life. Listen to one of my patients commenting on my treatment last week. See: www.yen-medical.com
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) sees your internal organs’ energy or Qi running along Meridians, upon which Acupoints can be used to input or release energy. Today’s patient had breathing and heart problems – she exhibited high mental state, restlessness, painful shoulder and poor sleep. I diagnose lung pain and blockages. I apply finger pressure as in Shiatsu / Tuina to address these obstacles on Acupoints LU-1 & LU-2 to open shoulder and lungs.
She showed high emotional state, with impaired cardiovascular function and lower bloodflow. Key Heart acupoints addressed with fingers were HT-1 (centre of armpit), plus another acupoint I cannot find in Acupuncture textbooks, call it “HT-Mid” – which intersects curve across chest measured 3 Cun (2inches/ 5cm) above left nipple. Both acupoints I find useful for clearing blocked heart; sometimes treating traumatic/ emotional issues like family grief. Remember that severe anxiety, depression, fear and trauma may be disturbing the subject.
Treat patients for excessively poor emotions, heart/ lung dysfunction and low bloodflow using these Acupoints.
I’ve had thousands of patients come in to see me over the years – many complaining about bad back pains or Sciatica. Some have stiff shoulders and necks which can also be painful, even if it may stem from spinal issues; others have hip, leg and foot injuries. Instead of reading, listen to one of my patients and what he has to say about my treatment.

People come to me suffering bad back pains or Sciatica; some have spent years in agony, seeing their GP doctor to get painkillers, or seeking a Physiotherapist. A MRI scan may prove it’s a spinal issue, but it’s just a photograph.
With troublesome injuries in Slipped discs, necks, shoulders or hips, patients will likely lose mobility. My back pains found no solution until I discovered a strong Chinese woman to treat me hands-on with Shiatsu / Tuina, and she fixed it. I apply Shiatsu as a non-surgical and drug-free mode to address body injuries and pains. In 25 years, I find that I can treat most patients holistically to relieve many pains, whereas surgery or painkillers can be risky. So, drop in for advice and treatment: www.yen-medical.com
I sometimes get asked: In my 25 years working Chinese TCM & Shiatsu acupressure, have I ever been injured, and what I do then? It`s a case of: Physician heal thyself. But, restoring your own health after treating thousands of patients is going to be problematical, especially when it can involve a painful bad back and my sciatica. Fortunately, I can ask my pal John to do some intensive remedial work on my limbs and back pain.
Patients also ask me about whether Acupuncture works as a remedial solution for back and limb pains? I myself being traditional and slightly cowardly, I don`t always see the efficacy of Acupuncture needles, and I run from the risky option of surgery - unless it`s a serious injury/ immobility that damages their lives forever. So, when I detect my own back or joint stiffness, it`s time for me to ask John for some healing massage treatment before I end up horizontal long-term.
Current hospitals follow conventional Western medical standard processes, usually involving drugs and surgery on the patient. Don`t get me wrong, this would be the logical progression in ICU when the patient is critically ill or bleeding. Yet, sit in a typical hospital and you`ll find a lot of medical healthcare is mundane procedural: talking to the patients and staff, checking as to what happened, what`s been done and what`s likely to be done. Chinese TCM medicine tends to focus on prevention of illness and disease. I also work with patients who seem chronically ill, suffering pains or lack of mobility etc.
While I`ve probably treated some 25,000 patients in my time, viewing the patient as one interlinked unit helps better explain and treat those who have (say) psychological problems and take drugs or alcohol - and may have associated breathing and mobility issues. But, if anything, I say that a national culture is doomed to fail where patients over-rely on doctors to "cure" them for non-critical ailments. People who coop themselves in front of a TV, computer or iPhone 24 hours should not have to question where mental illness or depression have entered.
My patients who have taken excess cigarettes, 2 bottles of wine daily, consumed cocaine other hard drugs and told me where to shove my TCM advice - the pain or premature death is largely self-made. If you do not go out, breathe some fresh air in the parks and woods, eat a healthy balanced diet, so some daily physical exercise - then you`ve merely got yourself to blame. The ancient Greek philosopher Sophocles wrote fittingly: "Heaven never helps the men who will not act". So, listen up.
Every week I get all sorts of people coming in for remedying their back and hip pains. Someone who is energetic and working on 3 jobs simultaneously is Jules, organising the Chiswick Cheese market of 57 stalls on Sunday. BTW - the cheeses were delicious! And Chiswick is only 30mins from my clinic in CCS Charing Cross W6 8LH.
She came to me from a friend`s recommendation asking for a timely remedy last year fixing back and leg pains. So, I applied Chinese TCM and Shiatsu hands-on her acupuncture points.
I cannot say TCM / Shiatsu provides a permanent solution, but it works well when the pain relief kicks in. She`ll be fit to go back to work again on her 3 jobs. I see that rare people are filled with boundless energy and drive - Jules is a wonder to behold.
People who have been struck with frozen shoulder, painful back and aching arms usually want to progress past the proverbial 3 painkiller tablets per day stage. So, they often ask me for hands-on treatment with Chinese TCM & Shiatsu.
The present alternatives of suffering aches, bad sleep, taking Painkiller pills or injections don`t really work for them. The good news from Chinese TCM is that the body “talks” to us, and by applying pressure on Acupoints, pains can be directly relieved. Now, he could move his stiff shoulder and arms with more flexibility and less pain (see photo); although, it may take 3 or 4 more appointments to straighten out his frozen shoulder and back.
I’m happy getting him and others on the healing path working on body pains. I`m based at Charing Cross Hospital in CCS Sports clinic Hammersmith W6 8LH to support local community health. Get treated promptly for your pains and medical ailments using Chinese TCM and Shiatsu.
One year ago, Theresa came into my Chinese TCM and Shiatsu clinic. Suffering Fibromyalgia and Sciatica, she had huge pains in back, shoulders, neck, hips and legs for years; she could be bed-bound taking doctor`s drugs. Yet, she prefers my drugs-free Chinese TCM healing path, with exercise work-outs from Vincent, for rebuilding herself. Working on body Acupoints, it`s an intense experience - not for everyone. But then, Theresa couldn’t walk up 4 steps at CCS one year ago; now she`s exercising and lifting 30kg weights.
I`m working hands-on her and others at Charing Cross Hospital in CCS Sports clinic, London W6 8LH on appointments-only. Written on Theresa`s kind Xmas T-shirt gift to me - you "Repeat Shiatsu" towards fitness and wellness. So, you can try out Chinese TCM and Shiatsu to regain lost health. Have a Happy New Year!
After working in my local Hammersmith health clinic, sometimes visiting people at home or at work is the only option treating very busy people. Today, getting Russell back on a healing path at Dr Espresso SW6 becomes a matter of when onsite and not where. Repairing and lifting up an 80kg 3-lever 1970s Italian industrial coffee machine (pictured) is going to result in serious body injury and pain somewhere.
He`s restored vintage Italian coffee machines over half his life, while I spark new life into injured bodies for 25 years. Since I first treated his back pains in 2020, there’s few body parts I do not try to rejuvenate pressing his Acupoints. Using no drugs or painkillers with my Chinese TCM and Shiatsu methods, he usually responds well to pain relief and recover more usage of his back and limbs. Russell co-owns and runs 4 London coffee shops; so, time off through injury becomes a painful and expensive option.
I`ve been happily working hands-on 25 years to help rid patients of their pains, so they can recover from injuries faster. View my Website to see how I assisted patients using Chinese TCM and Shiatsu.
